2. Purchase price and VAT

Prices on www.carouseltoyshop.co.uk vary from time to time, so those paid on previous occasions or those displayed on previous visits to the website may no longer be valid. You should carefully check the price at the checkout before completing any subsequent purchase.

Prices and promotions on www.carouseltoyshop.co.uk may vary from those in the retailer’s premises, or in the retailer’s promotional material and advertising.

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current UK rate.

3. Payment

We accept payments made by Visa and Mastercard, Visa Debit, Switch, Delta and Electron. We do not accept American Express or Diners. 4. Acknowledging your order

Following confirmation of your order on screen, we will send you an email to acknowledge your order. We will hold your order for at least one hour to give you the opportunity to make last minute changes.

If during processing we discover for any unforeseen reason that we cannot complete order we will cancel the order and email or call you explaining why (for instance, a stock shortage, inability to obtain payment, or the identification of a pricing, product, or product description fault).

Your order is accepted and the contract concluded when the product ordered is despatched.

5. Right for you to cancel your contract

Most purchases made on-line are subject to special distance selling rules providing you with a statutory cooling-off period of seven working days after delivery during which time you can cancel your contract. Should you decide to change your mind during this period, you can contact us to make appropriate arrangements to return your order subject to the terms detailed below:

You must take care of goods whilst they are in your possession, and either return them or make them available for collection by the retailer. There will be a charge made for the cost of collecting the goods or you will need to pay the return postage - unless the goods were faulty in the first place.

Goods not covered by the seven day cooling-off period are:

    * Gift vouchers
    * Services provided before the seven day cooling off period has expired such as delivery charges
    * Software

Please pack goods so that they will not be damaged in transit. (Items not in their original condition cannot be refunded). We will also require you to include a copy of the packing note or order details and a brief note outlining the reason for return.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited by us from your payment card will be re-credited to your account as soon as we receive the order back. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

6. Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the order if:

    * we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
    * we cannot obtain payment
    * a product, price, or offer description fault has been identified
    * we do not deliver to your area

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from the CarouselToyshop website at anytime and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

7. Delivery

Carouseltoyshop will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order.

We aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted but will vary depending on the postage option selected.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Goods for delivery outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes and/or customs charges. These charges are levied once the parcel arrives at its destination, and must be paid by the recipient.

Our postage and delivery charges cover order processing, packaging, handling, insurance and delivery costs.

Any dates quoted for Standard, First Class and International delivery of goods are approximate only and not guaranteed and Carousel shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the Goods howsoever caused.

Carousel shall not be liable to the Customer or be deemed to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of Carousel's obligations in relation to the Goods, if the delay or failure was due to any Force Majeure or other cause beyond Carousel's reasonable control.

Most items purchased through www.carouseltoyshop.co.uk will be despatched by Carousel from our warehouse in Godalming Surrey to the delivery address provided by you at the time of purchase.

It is your responsibility to ensure you choose a delivery address where you, or other able and authorised individuals acting on your behalf, are available to receive and sign for the goods delivered by our courier. In the event there is no one in to receive the goods, we cannot be held responsible for non delivery, however, we will endeavour to do as much as we reasonably can to help make sure your parcel is redelivered as early as possible.

We use a number of professional couriers and delivery organisations and select the most appropriate for the goods purchased.
Our couriers will only deliver the goods to your door; they cannot take them into your home.

Some items require assembly. You need to take these things into account when agreeing to purchase goods from this website. If you are unsure, please contact our customer service department.

8. Damaged or Faulty Items

Please do not accept or sign for an order which is visibly damaged. If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to provide a replacement as soon as possible.

In the unlikely event that you receive an item which proves to be faulty we are happy to help. However, we do ask that you notify us of any problem within a reasonable period of time.

9. Governing Law

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the jurisdiction of English courts.

10. Entire agreement

These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions.
